Currently Unable to load into assetto corsa vr through content manager. I just recently got an oculus quest 2 to try and set up a vr race sim. whenever I try to load in to a game I am brought up to the typical loading screen. Except the loading bars take about 5x longer to cycle than it I where to use my monitors.

There's no need for SteamVR to get involved - one other thing you could try is going to your Oculus Home, into your Library, Apps, and then add Assetto Corsa (click on the + symbol to add a game, browse through to the Steam folder and select the AC.exe). You can then launch AC from your Oculus Home.
Cote Dazur said: Yes VR in AC can be as good as it get. Better than anything else, but, it is not as easy as in racing games using the SMS engine. A little work is required. first of, you need latest CSP preview and proper weather effect PP. then you need to tweak until you are there. Both Assetto Corsa and Project CARS surely offer some of the best early VR experiences so I ran a quick test to see how they measured up side by side using the Oculus Rift. I've added the video although 2D video really doesn't do this full justice, in Rift all I want to do is reach out and touch the buttons and I really do feel like I'm holding If you don't click it then you can't run any ppfilters properly in VR, so something like pure won't work properly as you need a filter with a pure script for it to work. CSOCSO-FL • 7 mo. ago. That is completely false. I have my own pp filter with 10k+ downloads. That button does nothing else but separates pure config settings for screen and vr. Disable FXAA and depht of field. You also should be able to set the resolution of the headset also outside the game, for the rift s on the oculus app there are three modes, auto, quality and performance, i dont know if it is the same for the quest, but look at it and if it is be sure to set it in quality just in case performance is kicking in
I think the FPS limit is stuck with my TV's refresh rate. Restarting game doesn't work, even using nvidia's resolution setting to fake a 90fps monitor doesn't work. Even removing AC's setting folder in documents doesn't work either. Solution: change FPS limit to something low (i.e. 40fps) => enter game => FPS locked at 40fps => exit
