r/MMORPG • 2 yr. ago [deleted] Is Lord of the Rings Online good? Question I play WOW classic and Old School Runescape and love the worlds, quests and overall choice the player has. I love middle earth and always wanted an RPG in the world and just found out about LOTR online. Is it good? The original films, whose stars included Sir Ian McKellen, Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom, took about £2.5bn ($3bn) at the box office. They also won multiple Oscars, with 2004's The Return of the Let me preface it by saying I absolutely love the Lord of the Rings. The novels (or novel, to be precise) are probably my favourite books of all time, and I am rereading them for the third year running. The movies made my childhood. I have seen them LITERAL hundreds of times. Search the sub for "edition" and you'll probably find a couple of threads with good results. This is the edition that I have, and it does great. It's at a pretty good price right now, though it regularly drops much lower than that, and comes with an excellent box, beautiful artwork, and fold-out maps in the back.
The Lord of the Rings Online is rated PEGI 12 and contains: ☑ Violence; Final Verdict. The Lord of the Rings Online is an excellent window into Middle Earth as JRR Tolkien envisioned it. While there are better MMORPG experiences to be found elsewhere, I recommend The Lord of the Rings Online to lovers of Tolkien’s works and classic MMORPGs.
